colors & hues

Privacy policy

Effective 8 October 2026

colors & hues is built so your photos never leave your iPhone. We don't collect, store or share any personal data.

This policy covers the colors & hues app for iPhone (the "app"), published by Missing Traders ("we", "us").

Your photos

With your permission, the app reads photos in your Photos library on your iPhone so it can find their colours. You choose whether it reads your whole library or only selected albums, and you can change that at any time in the app or in the iOS Settings app.

What we collect

Nothing. The app has no account, no sign-in, no advertising, no third-party analytics and no tracking. No photos, colours, palettes or any other data derived from your photos are sent to us or to anyone else. The app works fully offline.

Saving and sharing

Colour albums you create and palette images you export are saved to your own Photos library, or shared only to the place you choose using the iOS share sheet. Your preferences (such as your brand colours and indexing settings) are stored on your iPhone.

Purchases

Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your name, email address or payment details. Apple's handling of that information is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.

Diagnostics from Apple

If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple may provide us with anonymous, aggregated crash reports and usage statistics. These do not identify you, and you can turn this off at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.

Deleting your data

You can delete the colour index at any time in the app under Settings › Privacy › Delete colour index. Deleting the app removes everything it stored. The app never edits or deletes your photos.

Children

The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
